"O God, what's this nonsense? Couldn't she have told me before she left the house? In fact, I'm just tired", those were the thoughts that ran through Chinelo's mind when her mum interrupted her breakfast with a phone call. She hated it whenever someone distracted her, her mum was aware but was the number one breaker of Chinelo's protocols. She had forgotten her cheque book and had called her to bring it to the First Bank close to their house so she could make some transactions. " But mum, I have not had my bath and I'm still eating. Besides, I can't wear clothes on my dirty body and come there" she ranted out. Nothing changed, it didn't matter to her mum.
